A great countertop depends as much on templating, fabrication and installation as on the slab. At GlamourStone all three are done by our own team, and every slab is fabricated in our shop.

Our process
Five clear steps.
There's no showroom to visit. We come to you, and you choose your slab where you like. Every project is different; this is the typical path.
Free in-home consultation
We come to you. In your kitchen, bath or backyard we look at the space, take preliminary measurements, talk through layout, edges, sinks and overhangs, and review material options with you. Your estimate follows from this visit, at no cost.
Slab selection
Pick your slab at MSI Surfaces or Natural Stone Resources, where we are an authorized dealer, or at any other slab yard you like. With natural stone, the slab you choose is the slab we fabricate, so we'll tell you what to check before you commit: size, thickness, finish and how the veining will fall across your layout.
Templating
Once cabinets or bases are set, we template the exact surfaces: walls, corners, appliance openings and fixture locations. Templating sets every cut, seam and overhang.
In-house fabrication
Your slab is cut, edged and finished in GlamourStone's own fabrication shop: sink and cooktop cutouts, edge profiles, mitered waterfall joints and the vein layout we agreed on.
Installation
Our team sets, levels, seams and finishes the stone in your home, prepares openings for your plumber, cleans up and walks you through care for your specific material.

Are your estimates free?
Yes. GlamourStone offers free in-home estimates. We come to your home, look at the space, take preliminary measurements and talk through materials, then prepare your estimate.
Do you have a showroom?
No. We work on a shop-at-home model: the consultation happens in your home, and you choose your slab at MSI Surfaces or Natural Stone Resources, where we are an authorized dealer, or at any slab yard you prefer.
Can I bring a slab I picked at another slab yard?
Yes. If you've chosen a slab elsewhere, we can template, fabricate and install it. Our online catalog lists MSI and NSR materials, but your project isn't limited to them. Tell us where your slab is from when you request an estimate.
Who fabricates the stone?
We do. All stone fabrication is done in-house at GlamourStone, and the same team handles templating and installation.
Quartz or quartzite: what's the difference?
Quartz is an engineered surface made with mineral content and resins, so its color and pattern are consistent. Quartzite is a natural stone cut from quarried blocks, so every slab is unique. They look similar but need different care, and they are fabricated differently. We can walk you through both.
How is a countertop installation priced?
Pricing depends on the material, slab count and size, thickness, edge profile, cutouts, backsplash, removal of existing tops and site conditions. We don't publish generic prices. Your free in-home estimate is based on your actual project.
What thickness should I choose: 2 cm or 3 cm?
Both are common. Availability depends on the specific material (each product page lists the thicknesses the supplier shows). Edge profile, overhangs, waterfall details and budget all play a role, and we'll talk through them during your consultation.
